A lively ruby color with great presence.
Elegant and rich with lots of fruit in evidence, particularly black cherries and red berries. Floral, airy, mineral. A powerful wine with a noble structure and smooth tannins.
Balanced, good precision, with a long finish.
Grape variety: Merlot 58%, Cabernet Franc 28%, Petit Verdot 14%.
Harvest: Hand picked. Fermentation: in french oak barriques of 225 L for 14 to 16 days. Temperature controlled to less than 28°C.
Aging: 24 months in french oak barriques, 75% new and 25% of second year, then refinement in the bottle.
Production: 2500 numbered bottles.
Recommended serving temperature: 16°C -‐ 18°C
Best food match: Meat roasts, strong, aged cheeses.
