Lively ruby red color, good intensity with purple hues. A full yet elegant wine, it has pleasant and distinct aromas of wild blackberry, plum, violets and black pepper. Hints of cloves and cinnamon, too. Smooth with excellent acidity-‐tannin balance. Closes with a light balsamic overtone that enhances the fruitiness.

Harvest: Hand picked
Fermentation: in French oak barrels of 225 L for 6 days, then separated from the skins and transferred into a stainless steel tank for the completion of the alcoholic fermentation for an additional 8 days.
Ageing: 18 months in stainless steel tank and further refinement for at least another 6 months in bottles.
Production: 1400 numbered bottles.
Recommended Serving Temperature: conceived to be drank cool (12°C -‐ 14°C) particularly in the summer but can be drank at room temperature (18°C) any season of the year.
Best Food match: Stuffed pasta such as lasagna and cannelloni; chicken, fish and even hearty fish soups such as bouillabaisse.
